WOT  (ETHIOPIAN STEW)

 

INGREDIENTS:500g – 1kg(chicken,lamb,beef)

                           3 – 5 onions chopped

                           5 – 10 cloves garlic chopped

                            115g tomato paste

                            1 – 2 tbsp berbere spice

                            2 -5 tbsp oil

                            Stock or water

Cook onions on medium heat in stew pot till starting to brown.Add meat , garlic ,berbere spice .Cook till meat browns stirring so onion don’t burn.Add tomato paste,stir in.Add stock to just cover.Put lid on simmer slowly till done.Add more stock if necessary
